Saradhi Kuwait Vanithavedi Celebrated Vanithadinam

Vanithavedi, the Ladies Wing of Saradhi Kuwait, celebrated “Vanithadinam” on December 23rd in Indrarasta Hall, Mangaf. Saradhi President Sri.Suresh.K inaugurated the function, which was presided over by Mrs. Roshni Biju, the chairperson of Vanithavedi. Mrs.Roshni Biju, in her presidential address, pointed out that Vanithavedi is enriched with a bunch of creative and likeminded ladies who can play a vital role in the forthcoming days of Saradhi Kuwait, which is already in the path of far looking missions.

 

The entire program was adorned by the presence of many eminent guests like Mrs. Shantha Mariam James, Dr. Jyothi Rani, Mr. Benoy Sebastian, Saradhi Treasurer Mr.Murukadas, Patron Mr.Suresh Kochath, Trust Secretary Mr. Sajeev Kumar, Vanithavedi Vice Chairperson Mrs. Dipimol Sunil, Treasurer Mrs. Jayakumari, Joint Treasurer Sumathy Kumaran along with other Saradhi Central and Unit Office bearers.

 

Indian Central School Principal Mrs. Santha Mariam James gave a speech on “Empowering of Women in the Society” which was so inspiring for the audience, and later a very informative talk was given by Yiaco Appolo Clinic Gynecologist Mrs. Jyothi Rani focusing on the tips to bring awareness among the women on the health and the issues related to that.

 

The highlight of the program was a debate, on the subject “equal participation of men and women in the day to day activities of family life”, moderated by Mr. Benoy Sebastian, the President of Toast Masters Club, and it turn out to be very exciting, entertaining as well as informative.

 

Function also witnessed the inauguration of a tailoring training class started for those who are interested in stitching, among the Saradhi Vanithavedi members.

 

Mrs. Radha Gopinadh welcomed the gathering, Saradhi patron Mr. Suresh Kochath and Trust Secretary Mr. Sajeevan gave felicitations. Vanithavedi joint Treasurer Mrs. Sumathy Kumaran concluded the function with the vote of thanks.
