Thrissur Association of Kuwait (TRASSK) organized a football tournament for members at Mishref Football ground on Friday 06 Dec 2017. The association president Sri. Sebastian Vathukadan  inaugurated the tournament,  The welcome speech was delivered by association sports convener  Sri. Joseph Kanakan and the  vote of thanks by Sri. Hari Kulangara. Sri. Jayakumar(former Indian football team member), Sri. Biju Johny (former Viva Kerala Coach), Kafak General secretary Sri. Mansoor Kunnatheri were  esteemed guests of the event. The kick-off was done by Kafak president  Sri. Gulam Mustafa.

 

There were eight teams from different areas of Kuwait and Salmiya team lifted the cup and Jahra was the runners-up. The following people were nominated  Sri. Mohsin (salmiya) as  player of the tournament , Sri. Shefeek (Kuwait city)as best forward, Sri. Sreelesh (Kuwait city) -best defender and Sri.  Sujit (Kuwait city) best goal keeper. The trophies were presented by the association functionaries.
