ASSE Kuwait Chapter Organised the First session of Contractor Safety Month 2016

American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) Kuwait Chapter is Kuwait’s premier voluntary & non-profit organization providing professional guidance, training and consultancy; in the field of Health, Safety and Environment; to the industrial and social sectors in the region.


Continuing its constant efforts towards social responsibility and commitment, American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE), Kuwait Chapter, in collaboration with Kuwait Oil Company organised First session of the Contactor Safety Month 2016, where specialists Mr. Subhasish Dash & Mr. Kamesh Sharma, Product Excellence Team Specialists from M/s ProcessMAP conducted a presentation on EH&S and Sustainability Software Solutions. The event was conducted at KOC Hubara Assembly Hall at Ahmadi Township.


The event started with a safety moment and welcome address by Mr. Sanjay Jaiswal, Chapter Secretary. In his opening address Mr. CH. Rama Krushna Chary, President ASSE Kuwait chapter, informed that the chapter is organizing the Contractor Safety month for the benefit of contractors in state of Kuwait who are exposed to various safety risks. He mentioned that these technical meet events are open to everyone, so that the contactors who have a major role in industrial sector are updated to the best HSE practices and latest technologies in the personal protective equipment.


Eng. Nayef Al-Anezi, Chief Guest and Manager (Technical Support Services) of Kuwait Oil Company acclaimed the efforts of ASSE in organising these events for the benefit of contractors working in the industrial sector.


Mr. Fahad Al-Dhamen, Team Leader HSE D&T of Kuwait Oil Company praised the ASSE Kuwait chapter activities and advised the participants to participate in all the programs organizing by the Society.


Mr. Balaji, Manager of Safety Plus (Raja Company), briefed about the important of the topic and introduced the speakers. He has also explained to the participants on the benefits of joining ASSE.


Mr. Subhasish Dash & Mr. Kamesh Sharma explained about the EH&S and Sustainability Software Solutions in detail and the uses of the it in the field of HSE.


Mr. Sunil Sadanand, Treasurer of ASSE Kuwait Chapter, in his closing address acknowledged the support of Kuwait Oil Company to ASSE Kuwait chapter in conducting these events. He also thanked the Speakers Mr. Subhasish Dash & Mr. Kamesh Sharma of M/s ProcessMAP, and the sponsors M/s Raja Company for the presentations. He thanked the all the participants who took their time in the evening to attend and enrich their knowledge. Around 150 persons from different sectors participated in this event.  As a token of appreciation, speakers were presented with a memento. Certificate of participation was distributed to all the participants.
