Saradhi Kuwait conducted one day camp for kids

A one day camp “Arivu-2017” with a participation of around 200 children took place at the Saradhi Indraprastha Hall at Mangaf. Camp scheduled and executed under the Gurukulam Team of Saradhi was enriched with variety of innovative items which helped to bring out a smiling, energetic and much enthusiastic bunch of kids by the end of the camp.


The Camp was inaugurated by the Principal of Bhavans Smart School, Abbasiya, Mr. Mahesh Iyyer and was ensued by his Motivational Talk for the kids, which was very much guiding and inspirational for the kids to help them to face the degrading of the moral values of the present society to an extent. 


The Saradhi President Mr. Sajeev Narayanan, General Secretary Mr. Vinish Vishwam, Vanithavedhi Chairperson Mrs. Roshini Biju, Saradhi Trust Secretary Mr. Sajeev Kumar, Gurukulam Chief Coordinator Mr. Sibi Purushothaman, Gurukulam Vice President Ms. Akshara Jiji, were present during the inaugural function.


The Camp was categorized into three groups on the basis of age and each group was steered by  Mr. Sibi Purushothaman, Mrs. Bindu Sajeev , Mr. Binumon M K, Mr.Siju P Vasudevan, Mrs.Preethi Prashanth, Mrs.Vanaja Vijayan, Mrs.Radha Gopinadh and Mrs.Sruthi Preeji.


The Camp got kicked off with a Yoga and Prayer class under the supervision of Mr. Udayan Panikker and was followed by an awareness speech and presentation “Gurusmrithi” to give the kids more insight about Sri Narayana Guru Swamy, by Mr.Vinish Vishwam and a presentation by Mr. Siju Sadasivan on the topic “Matha Pitha Guru Dhaivam”.


As planned and foresighted by the camp organizers, kids were gone  through a new experience on the day of camp through the games, craft works, experiments, awareness on a new musical instrument, classes on Bad effects of Junk foods, Child abuses, Cyber Safety and above all music and dance. This all went under the supervision of Mr. Siju Sadasivan, Mrs. Manju Pramod, Mrs. Shijitha Rajesh, Mr. Shanoob Shekhar, Mrs. Roshini Biju, Mr. Vinish Vishwam, Mrs. Karthika Pramil, Mrs. Mobina Siju and Mrs. Tintu Vinish.


The additional highlight of the Camp was the food court of homely traditional foods arranged, displayed and served attractively by the Food Convener Mr. Binumon.


Camp was held under the auspices of Saradhi Vice President K R Aji, Secretary Mr. Manu K Mohan, Central Vanithavedhi Office bearers Mrs. Sindhuja Jii, Mrs. Jayakumari, Mrs. Vidhya Suresh along with Mrs. Berly Shilu, Mr. Sunesh I V and Mr. Jayan .
