American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE), Kuwait Chapter is a premier voluntary, non-profit making Health, Safety and Environmental organization, which strives to provide professional guidance, training, consultancy and resources to the industrial and social sectors in the region.
As a part of continuous efforts in its professional journey, ASSE-Kuwait Chapter commemorated the world Health day 2017 on 10th April 2017. The event was organized at Hotel Hilton Resorts, Royal Marquee Beach Tent, where the ASSE Kuwait Chapter Secretary Mr. Sanjay Jaiswal initiated the proceedings and Mr. CH. Rama Krushna Chary President of the chapter gave the welcome address.
Mr. Fadhel Al Ali, Chairman of the Kuwait Chapter emphasized the need of commemorating the World Health Day and the concerns on Depression amounts raising among older and Younger people in the society.
Mr. Sanjay Jaiswal introduced the speaker and the topics of the day. Subsequently, Health & Environment Committee Head Mr. Khaled Yousry presented the initiatives of RIC on the Health protection and campaigns. Then Dr. Mariam Al Qattan, Specialist - Family Medicine, Ministry of Health, explained about “Depression and Recovery”.
Event Chief Guest Mr. Fares Al Mansouri, Team Leader - Quality & HSE, Kuwait Oil Company addressed the occasion and distributed plaques to the speakers.
Mr. Muhammad Alamgir, Vice President gave the vote of thanks and the event was concluded with a dinner.
As part of the event Shuaiba Medical Industrial Center (SMIC) conducted a medical test for the members.
