Proclaiming the dedicated and accurate objectives and ideological standards, KPWA- Kerala Pravasi Welfare Association Kuwait Chapter successfully organized Free Medical Camp and Expatriate Welfare Workshop on 29th September, in coordination with Metro Medicals Group and Indian Doctors Forum (IDF).


Inauguration function was Chaired by KPWA Sri Mubarack Kambrath, KPWA Global Core Admin Chairman and Kuwait Chapter President. Secretary Sri Reji Chirayath welcomed the guests and attendees whereas KPWA Patron and prominent social activist in Kuwait Sri Babuji Bathery explained the moto and aims of KPWA in detail.  The event was inaugurated by Sri Hamza Payyannur, (CEO and Vice Chairman, Metro Medical Care) and announced 20-25% discount for around 800+ camp attendees for next 6 months follow-up treatments. Dr. Abhay Patwari (IDF), Sri Aniyan Kunju(WKK), Sri Raghunathan (Thanima Kuwait), Sri. Shafaz Ahamed (Lulu Exchange Marketing Manager) preceded with felicitation speeches. Treasurer Sri Anil Anad gave vote of thanks to all attendees and sponsors. The achievement of KPWA grown as a globally operating non-political and non-financial cultural and welfare organization in 8 countries and 14 districts in Kerala was highly appreciated and recognized by the speakers and audience.


Event commenced at 7:00AM and around 45 well trained and committed KPWA volunteers facilitated and supported the attendees to utilize the opportunity for free checkups and on registration fill-ups for NORKA and Welfare Scheme by Govt of Kerala. Dedicated volunteers were seen explaining on the doubts about the scheme throughout the day. Officials addressing that around 800+ common men could utilize the free medical checkup and consultation and 400+ gained by applying for NORKA and Welfare Scheme for a future back in in motherland. 


Prominent Doctors from Indian Doctors Forum (IDF) and Indian Dentists Alliance Kuwait (IDAK) gave very useful health and care related classes for the attendees. Classes by IDF Doctors, Dr. Hassan Khan (Expatriate and Cardiac Issues),  Dr. Syed Rahman (Expatriate and Kidney failures) , Dr. Noble Zachariah (Food habits and Diabetes) and from IDAK Dr Prathap Unnithan (Teeth and Care) was a flow of very useful information and knowledgeable for the listeners.


Success was all by the coordination and hard work of volunteers Sri Ibrahim , Muneer Jazeera Cargo, Rajan , Ravi Pangode, Rasheed Puthukkulangara, Yasir Vadakkan, Mrs. Susan Mathew, Shobha Nair, Ceinu Mathew,  Vanaja Rajan , Rajan, Girija Onamakuttan, Rose Mary, Sheeja Saji, Rafeeq Olavara, Joy John, Faisal Kambrath, Ali Jan, Latheef and remaining all counts to 45 strong team lead the show. KPWA officials announced such events will be organized frequently for helping the needy at best in near future as well.
