An impressive event held at Al-Islah Community Centre which was organized by Indian Muslim Association (IMA) in coordination with Dawah Now & EDC (E-da`wah Committee). Renowned Islamic scholar Yusuf Estes gave a thought-provoking speech on the topic of ‘Opening Bridges among Faiths ‘on Saturday, 30th December 2017 at Al-Islah Community Centre AL-Rawdah near Kuwait city at 7:30 pm.
In his address, Shaikh Yusuf Estes emphasised that Muslims must open wider bridges to other Faiths. Muslim should exchange views/opinions with people from other faiths at leisure time in offices, at their neighbourhoods or even during traveling.
Shaikh Yusuf Estes informed about various websites he is managing for interfaith dialogues such as sharaislam.com, searchforislam.com, justaskislam.com and faithislam.com.
The program started with Quranic recitation by Master Abdul Rahman Ansari followed by a welcome speech by IMA President Mr. Masood Shahab. He emphasized on the outreach services rendered by Shaikh Yusuf Estes and welcome him to the IMA Event.
A brief question & Answer session was conducted by the Convener of the program Mr. Pervez Hanif.
Guests from Al-Islah Community Centre, Mr. Abdullatif Al-Munifi and many dignitaries from Federation of Indian Muslim Association (FIMA), various other Muslim organization & Businessmen in Kuwait were present during the event along with members of IMA, Dawah Now & EDC (E-da`wah Committee).
On behalf of the IMA PR Dept. Mr. Syed Ahmed Ali presented Vote of thanks to the distinguished guests present at the Event.
