Saradhi Kuwait, conducted Saragasangamam 2018, the Annual Festival for Art and Culture of Saradhi Kuwait comprising of performances and completions of various artistic and cultural events among members of Saradhi Kuwait and their children. The festivity extended for two days spread over two weeks at different venues and the concluding ceremony of cultural competitions were held on January 19, 2018 at United Indian School , Abassiya.

 

The third day’s competitions were inaugurated by Saradhi President Sri.Sajeev Narayanan at the colourful Concluding Ceremony presided  Sri. Sajeev Narayanan reiterated that the Sargasamgamam is being organized every year by Saradhi Kuwait with a view to developing and enriching the inherent artistic and cultural talents of especially the younger generation, and wished all the participants and competitors to exhibit their best performances. Sri Jithesh M.P, the General Convener of Sargasamgamam 2018 welcomed all the participants, competitors and audience to the function and Saradhi General Secretary Sri. Vinish Viswam gave his felicitations. 

 

Saradhi Kuwait Treasurer Sri. Jayan Sadasivan, Vice President Sri.K.R.Aji, Secretary Sri. Manu K Mohanan, Joint Treasurer Sri. Shanoob V Sekhar, Saradhi Vanithavedi Secretary Smt.Sinduja Jiji, Treasurer Smt. Jayakumari, Joint Convener Smt. Jini Jayakumar, Joint Secretary Smt. Remya Dinu, Joint Treasurer Smt.Vidhya Suresh, Saradhi Joint Secretaries Smt. Smitha Libu,and Sri.Vasudevan,  graced the occasion with their esteemed presence.

 

Competitions were held in 50 items of artistic and cultural forms among various categories of competitors such as Kids, Sub junior, Junior, Senior and General Category. More than 900 competitors participated in the competitions and a large number of members and their families witnessed the three day long competitions from beginning to end. The whole events were conducted in a highly professional manner and has turned out to be an excellent exhibition for exceptional organizational ability of Saradhi Kuwait .

 

Highly competent and renowned artists and professionals from the larger Indian Community were assigned to evaluate and judge the performances of competitors; and the complaints and grievances of participants have been rightly addressed to by a competent Appeal committee.

 

All the winners were awarded with trophies and certificates at a specially convened closing ceremony.  were given to all those participants . Sri Jipson.C.R (our Annul Sponsor Almulla Exchange   Customer Relationship manager)  gave vote of thanks at the Closing Ceremony.

 

The following individuals who scored maximum points in each category were declared as Kalaprathibha and Kalathilakam and awarded with special trophies.

Saradhi Fahaheel Unit became the overall champion and won the coveted Kumaranasan Memorial Ever-rolling Trophy and Mangaf West Unit became the Runner-up.
