Thrissur Association of Kuwait(TRASSK) conducted arts & cultural competitions “KALOLSAVAM 2018” for its members and their families on 11th MAY 2018. As part of Ist phase of competitions OFF Stage items were conducted on 20th April 2018 at Abbasiya Success Line Academy. Association Vice President Mr. Hemachandran inaugurated the event  where Hundreds of children participated in different off stage competitions.


2nd phase of competition for ON stage items were held on 11th May 2018 at Abbasiya Indian Central School Auditorium. Programs were conducted on 5 different stages in presence of prominent judges. Program started morning at 9 AM and finished at late night.


Mr. BIJU KADAVI, Association President, chaired the general meeting at 4 pm where Mr Mahesh P Iyer Principal of Smart Indian School Abbasiya was the chief guest. Arts convener Mr. Biju Koroth delivered welcome speech. General secretary Mr. Manoj Kurumbayil, Vanithavedi coordinator Mrs. Shiny Frank, Marketing Manager for Al Mulla exchange Mr Hufeza Abbas and Kalikalm coordinator Master Joel Joseph delivered falicilitation speech. Around 5 pm meeting was adjourned with the thanks giving speech from sports convener Mr Joseph Kanakan.


The trophy for overall performance based on points was acquired by Fahaheel area. Based on individual points, Senior category KALATHILKAM was awarded to Miss. Anjana Raviprasad and  KALAPRATHIBA was awarded to Master. Nihas Mohammed. Junior category KALATHILKAM was awarded to Miss. Aisha Fathima, sub junior KALATHILKAM was awarded to Baby Ester Dinjen and KALAPRATHIBA was awarded to Master Adlin Cherian.


All the winners were awarded with trophies and certificates on the same day. The event was vibrant with the presence of prominent figures. Almost 500 participants competed in different events throughout the program.
