KIG Quran Study Center Exam Results Declared

Fahaheel: Kerala Islamic Group Kuwait, East Meghala announced the results of its Quran Study Center Exam. The examination was conducted on 13th May 2018 based on the 2nd chapter of the Holy Quran (Al Baqara) covering verses from 124 to 152. This was the 4th examination conducted as a part of the ongoing series based on Surah Baqarah where in questions were based on Thafheemul Quran - the tafsir of world renowned scholar Abul A’ala Moududi.

 

In the men’s category the 1st rank was secured by Hafis Ismail (Mangaf) scoring 99.5% while Saheer Kappil (Salmiya) bagged the 2nd rank followed by the 3rd rank shared by Mohammed Mubarak (Mahboula) and Mohammed Nawaz (Abu Halifa).

 

In the women’s category Bushaina Rafeeq (Abu Halifa) and Shabna Noushad (Fahaheel) shared the 1st rank scoring 100% marks.  The 2nd rank holders are Raihana Noushad (Salmiya), Sufiya Sajid (Abu Halifa), Shameer Abdul Aziz (Abu Halifa) and Silvana Mustafa (Fahaheel). The 3rd rank was secured by Sheeja Unais (Hawalli), Sabitha Abdul Rahman (Salmiya), Jaseera Thasneem (Mahboula), Soumya Sabir (Fahaheel) and Rasmin Saleej (Fahaheel).

 

The open book examination was attended by more than 150 students of 24 Quran Study centers organized by Kerala Islamic Group, East Zone.  Niyas Islahi, the QSC Coordinator for East Zone supervised the examinations and centralized valuation of answer sheets.

 

The prizes for the rank holders were distributed in the solemn function arranged at the grand iftar held at Mangaf Al Najath School Auditorium on Friday the 1st of June 2018.
