The Dancing Divas is organizing its 9th Annual Jubilation on the 19th of May 2017 at Cambridge School, Mangaf, from 6 pm to 11 pm. The highlight of the program is the presence of Salman Yusuf (Winner of Dance India Dance Season 1) and Ishq Bector who is a popular Indo Canadian singer and Hip Hop artist. The evening will be hosted by the famous standup comedian and mimicry artist, Mubeen Saudagar(Comedy Nights with Kapil fame)
The Dancing Divas is a reputed dance academy run by choreographer and dance teacher Mrs. Jyoti Patel with over 100 children from different schools in Kuwait. The children have performed almost in all the regional associations like Telugu, Gujarati, Malayalam, Oriya, Tulu, Asamese, Marathi, Bengali, Tamil, etc. Also, the students have performed and shared stage with many renowned artists like Alka Yagnik, Kumar Sanu, Bali Brahmbhatt, Udit Narayan, Shreya Ghoshal, Sudha Chandran, Terence Lewis, Talat Aziz, Mahashweta Roy, Anu Choudhery, Aman Verma, Mika Singh, Sukhwinder Singh, Ravina Tondon, Neha Kakkar, Shabri Brothers, Vinod Rathod, Sivamani, Benny Dayal, Raghav Juyal, Sidharth Sagar, Arijit Singh, Mohit Chouhan, MJ5, Faisal Khan, Sudha Chandran, Saleem Sulaiman, Meet Bros, Naseeruddin Shah and several more.
Kuwait has always been a welcome host to a lot of multi talented artists from all over India and this time The Dancing Divas is presenting before you talents from various fields of entertainment. Salman Yusuff Khan is a popular Indian dancer and choreographer. He won the dance reality show Dance India Dance Season 1. After winning the show, Khan appeared in the title song of Wanted. He then did the music video "Dance Of Death" for the movie Rakta Charitra and in the video "Alive" (2011). He was a choreographer for Yana Gupta in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa (season 4), with Isha Sharvani in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa (season 5). Khan's debut movie, ABCD: Anybody Can Dance, under the direction of Remo d'souza, was released on 8 February 2013. He has won the 6th season of the reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa with Drashti Dhami. He will soon be seen as a celebrity guest in Big Magic's unique reality show Big Memsaab.
IshQ Bector is an Indo Canadian singer, performer, songwriter, composer, producer and Hip Hop artist. His full name is Amitabh Sunil ishQ Bector. Born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitobaa, he was also part of a Canadian Hip Hop group- Frek Sho. His first project for the Indian Music industry is "Ishq De", which included the singles "Dakku Daddy", "Aye Hip Hopper" & the title track "Ishq De". The success of these albums helped him venture soon into Bollywood. He has movies like- Ugly Aur Pagli and Barsaat to his music credit. He has also been a participant of the reality TV show- Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao. He has also starred in the TV series " Bollywood Hero" in the role of Girish.
To host the evening and to entertain us with his comic skills, we have the popular Indian stand up comedian and mimicry artist, Mubeen Saudagar. He started his career by performing at various social and cultural events. Saudagar's comedy shows include Laughter Ke Phatke, Comedy Champions, Pehchan Kaun, Yeh Chanda Kanoon Hai, Comedy Circus, Comedy Classes and Comedy Nights Bachao.
