It’s that time of the year when you have very little time between returning home and then going out for a social do. How do you get your skin to glow in 20 minutes? Dr Madhuri Agarwal, dermatologist and cosmetologist, helps us with some tips.

-Potato acts as an instant bleaching agent, and lightens the skin tone within minutes. It also has the ability to shrink your acne. Grate a raw potato, and apply it all over the face like a pack. Rinse it after five minutes, and you’ll see the change.

-Tomatoes are packed with antioxidants and lightening ingredients. Make tomato pulp, and apply the paste all over your face. Leave it for 15 minutes, then rinse with cold water. It will help in reducing acne scars, and will also exfoliate your skin to reveal a brighter and healthier complexion.

Papaya can do wonders. It’s a potent exfoliant, and can give you an even texture in no time. Mash a papaya, mix a few drops of rosewater, and apply it as a face mask. Rinse after 20 minutes.

-No matter how tired or busy, do not forget your daily cleansing routine before bed, and applying sunscreen in the morning.
