LeEco, which recently acquired a controlling stake in Coolpad, announced its first product called Coolpad Cool1 in August. Now, the two companies seem to be working on a new device, details of which surfaced on TENAA. GizmoChina first spotted the handset on the Chinese certification site and posted detailed specifications of the same. According to the site, the new Coolpad smartphone will come with a 5.5-inch full HD display and multiple storage variants. It will powered by Snapdragon 821 clocked at 2.35GHz. It is said to come in 4GB/6GB RAM options along with 32GB/64GB/128GB internal memory variants.

The handset looks similar to LeEco’s Le Pro 3 in terms of design, though the rear looks different. The Chinese certification website reveals the new Coolpad smartphone will be available in white, black, gold, silver, black etc colour variants. There’s ‘Cool’ logo at the rear bottom of the smartphone with ‘LeEco Inside’ written below. The device is said to come with a beefy 4,000 mAh battery, 16MP rear camera and an 8MP front shooter. It will run on on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. Other details of the device are unknown, but we can expect more leaks around the same in the coming days given its already passed TENAA.

Coolpad Cool1 Dual was unveiled in China in August. The smartphone is priced at 1,099 Yuan and features a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor and comes in two RAM variants – 3GB and 4GB. The internal memory is  32GB. The smartphone is available in silver, gold and rose gold colour variants.
