The Chennai based motorcycle maker, Royal Enfield is planning to introduce its hugely famous Classic 350 in exciting new colours including red, green and navy blue. The new bikes as seen in the pictures, surprisingly doesn’t have the RE’s trademark pinstripe design on the fuel tank. Only the tank is painted in scheme colors while the rest of the bike gets black and chrome treatment. The bike is currently present in five colors such as Black, Silver, Maroon, Dark-Blue (lagoon), Grey (ash) and Light-Blue (mint). After the launch of three new colors the company might pull the plugs on some of the present colors.

The bike runs on the 346cc Single Cylinder, 4 stroke, Twinspark, air-cooled engine that churns out 19.8bhp of maximum power and a healthy peak torque of 28Nm. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. The 2017 models also possibly are BSIV compliant to meet the strict emission norms. The new models are expected to reach the RE dealerships by mid-January.

It is currently priced at Rs 1.31 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and competes against motorcycle like the newly launched Bajaj Dominar 400, UM Renegade series and Mahindra Mojo. Stay tuned for more details and updates from the auto industry.
