Every mantra has therapeutic value. In Hinduism, there are several shlokas and mantras that are chanted for well-being of one and all. Hinduism, traditionally referred to as the Sanatana Dharma, believes in the ethos of universal brotherhood and that the world is one family.

Prayers do wonders and the idea of worshipping inculcates faith in the Supreme. And hence, prayers help in healing mentally and physically. Spiritual awakening plays a vital role in shaping not just the body but the mind.

On World Health Day, here’s sharing a beautiful mantra that can be chanted for keeping diseases and illnesses at bay.

OM Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah Sarve Santu Niramaya

Sarve Bhadrani Pashyantu

Maa Kashichi Dukkha Bhaag Bhavet

Om Shanti Shanti Shanti

Meaning:

May all be happy and prosperous,

May all be free from diseases,

May all see what is auspicious and spiritually elevating,

May no one ever suffer,

OM peace, peace peace.
