According to sources, the two bodies have fi nished preparing the organizational structure of the new body and have identifi ed the duties of each sector and the relations among the different departments.

Merged

The total number of employees in the merged authority is about 3,000 with only 550 employees from MGRP. The sources said the budget of the merged body is KD 560 million, with KD 508 million previously specified for MGRP and KD 52 million for Public Authority for Manpower. They revealed that the laws of Civil Service Commission (CSC) will be applied on the new body, and the employees will enjoy entitlements based on their job titles.

The sources explained that MGRP was specified for managing Kuwaiti manpower while the Public Authority for Manpower deals with manpower in general. The merge will have many advantages including unification of the bodies to handle manpower affairs and help in ending the phenomenon of fake employment which will in turn protect the public funds.
