KUWAIT CITY : In accordance with the directives of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah and the directives of His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah to invite young people to benefit from the facilities and support provided by the State, the Minister of Commerce and Industry Khalid Al-Roudan races to complete the projects for youth, reports Al-Anba daily.

In this regard, Al-Anba has learned that the ministry has completed the regulations for mobile vehicles and the executive regulations for seasonal markets.

Informed sources told the daily that the list of the mobile vehicles has been prepared and the list of seasonal markets has been completed.

The sources revealed the Minister of Commerce and Industry Khalid Al-Roudhan has started a discussion session at the Ministry of Commerce today, in the presence of the committee to improve the business environment and representatives of all competent authorities to present the lists of mobile vehicles and seasonal markets to share views and benefit from any positive proposal that benefits the youth.

Sources pointed out the minister aims at the two seminars to discuss two issues: First, to ensure the issuance of the two lists in an integrated manner, taking into account the requirements, proposals and opinions of officials who will participate in the implementation.

The second goal is to accelerate the adoption of the two lists definitively without any gaps and then announcing for the young people who wish to have a license either in the project of mobile vehicles or seasonal markets.

A total of 141 Bedouns, children of widows and divorced Kuwaiti women who were married to non-Kuwaitis will be granted Kuwaiti nationality, in addition to the reinstatement of nationality for four people while the nationality of three others will be withdrawn, reports Al-Sabah daily quoting sources.

Last Thursday, the parliamentary Human Rights Committee announced that it requested audience with HH the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to tackle the naturalization of wives of martyrs under the clause ‘noble work’, in a bid to end their suffering as soon as possible.

The committee also unveiled a plan to establish a commission in charge of receiving Bedouns with fake passports and setting up mechanism for issuing identification cards which do not mention any nationality for them.

Committee Chairman MP Adel Al-Damakhi affirmed the commission will be formed as soon as possible in order to enable Bedouns to undergo treatment and grant them their rights.

Minister of Oil, Electricity and Water Essam Al-Marzouq affirmed a minor pollution was contained on Qarouh Island with a boat belonging to Kuwait Oil Company, reports Al-Rai daily.

Al-Marzouq explained the pollution, which was a mere light layer that evaporated through sun and waves, was remnant from an old oil spill. He said no other pollution was discovered after cleaning the environment of Umm Al-Muradem, Kubbar, Failaka, Ouha islands, Ras Al-Sabiyya and Qarouh Island.
