It is quite natural for fans to go crazy when they spot their stars so close. In the early days the practice was to get autographs of celebrities on such occasions. But now it has been taken over by selfies.

Sometimes the fans, in a frenzy, infringe the personal space of the actors and make them uncomfortable, while taking a picture on their phones.

This was evident in a recent incident where actor Vidya Balan encountered an annoying experience with a selfie-seeking fan at an airport.

She was angry when the man came too close while taking a selfie. A bemused Vidya Balan chided him and walked away without posing for the pic.

Vidya is known for taking a bold stand on any matter within and outside the film world.

Most of her fans say that she was right in admonishing the man for his misconduct at a public place. They say that though there is nothing wrong in taking a selfie, doing it without respecting someone's privacy was not quite right.
