KUWAIT CITY : The Kuwait Municipality has activated the law No. 190/2008 which prevents spreading clothes to dry on balconies to protect urban landscape from being defaced, reports Al-Rai daily.
The emergency team from the Capital Governorate organized an inspection campaign in Bneid Al-Gar recently and warned some tenants of the apartments overlooking the Istiqlal Street.
The head of the emergency team Zeid Al-Enezi said members of the team have put stickers on the doors of apartments that have violated the ministerial decision. Violators of the law will be punished in the form of fines ranging from KD 100 to KD 300.
