If you just nodded yes to the second question then pat yourselves on your back. Just regular hair wash is not enough to keep your hair healthy and strong, especially because we live in cities where pollution levels are high. Curry leaves is touted to be one of the most effective ingredients for improving hair growth. Been in use since ancient times, it is loaded with antioxidants, proteins and amino acids that work wonders in strengthening hair follicles and stimulating hair growth.

Home Remedies to Try

To use, make a paste of curry leaves using a little water and strain out the juice. Add two tablespoon of yoghurt to make a hair mask and apply to the hair roots. Leave it on for 20 minutes and then wash with a mild shampoo.

You could also make curry leaves oil and use it to massage your scalp. Heat half a cup of coconut oil and add in a good amount of curry leaves. Take it off the flame and let it infuse. Once it cools, strain the oil and use it to massage your scalp.

Make a little extra effort to take care of your hair and keep it beautiful.
